Description
Sensitive Probe for the ShortSniffer PCB short circuit locator system.
The Sensitive Probe provides the highest sensitivity for detecting the magnetic field produced by current flowing through PCB traces. This makes it useful for initially locating the general area of a short circuit when the signal level is very small.
Because of the larger sensing area the probe has lower spatial resolution, but it is often the best choice for detecting weak signals before switching to a probe with finer resolution to pinpoint the fault.
This probe is included with the ShortSniffer SS3 Pro Kit and is available separately as a replacement or additional probe.
